Ingredients for four people
350g potato dough
8 apricots
4 sugar cubes
Sugar, cinnamon, white breadcrumbs and butter for melting
How to make them
Cut the rolled-out potato dough into eight squares of the same size. Remove the stone from the washed apricots and put half a sugar cube in each apricot. Then wrap the dough around the apricot and shape them into round dumplings. Gently simmer the dumplings in boiling salted water for 15 minutes. Mix the cinnamon, sugar and white breadcrumbs and toss the dumplings in it. Then pour the golden brown butter over them. Enjoy!
You can also make the dumplings with plums, cherries or strawberries.
